Cycling the length of the Cape Peninsula - from Cape Point (the south eastern most point) to Green Point (the north western most point), traversing Table Mountain National Park and Table Mountain - in one ride - that's the POINT2POINT Challenge!

A self supported individual/small group 'always on' cycling event, the POINT2POIONT challenges average plus riders of all ages to complete this a one-of-a-kind bike riding experience with the emphasis on it being a challenge and not a race.

My involvement has been to set it all up as well as inspire others to hopefully participate - a navigate for good initiative!

Through my association with the MURAL consultant network, I met Ruud Janssen and the Event Design Collective in October 2020. To understand how the event design model could add value to thinking about the design of strategic planning processes particularly in the (post) COVID era, I decided to accredit as a Event Design Collective Certified Event Designer (CED) - the first CED in Africa. I'm currently exploring ways to leverage this new approach, not only in my strategy practice but also to create value in helping event owners think or rather rethink their events and 'event' type scenarios, both in SADC and across the continent.

An example of my work using the #EventCanvas methodology that I am permitted to share is as per the video link alongside.

For more about my practice click through to my navigate event design page here

In April 2020, motivated by questions from clients about possible future scenarios facing business in a post COVID19 world, I collaborated with my colleague and friend Dale Williams on a remote scenario learning exercise focus on Western Cape business in December 2021.

The project was reviewed by an associate based in New Zealand with the opportunity to support a similar project considering the post COVID future of New Zealand. During this second iteration, the idea of creating the navigatescenarios.com platform germinated and I've supported various scenario learning projects across the globe.

Video links documenting the work that I can share in the links alongside.

Appointed Non Executive Director, July 2018.

After having been invited to participate in the Barrett Values Centre Cultural Transformation Tools Practitioner Training program (CTT ®) while working with a Client. I accredited in the Evolutionary Coaching program in Feb 2017.

An overview of the Evolutionary Coaching approach from the founder in the video link alongside.

Founded in 2011, navigate has evolved and grown into a full service change design and strategy consultancy, working at the intersection of understanding a organization's culture and strategy toward driving growth (scaling).

Recognising 'what got you here, may not get you there', I meet clients where they are at and we co create an approach to supporting their delivering their goals. This has been particularly relevant for Clients dealing with the impact of COVID on their organisation, team and way of working..

An example of work (showcased on the MURAL global consultant network with permission from Client) in the link alongside.
